In Contre-poids, Massimo Monticelli si interroga sullo statuto e sulle sfumature del concetto di leggerezza partendo dalla contraddizione intrinseca a questo concetto: la sua superficialità da un lato e la sua necessità quotidiana dall’altro. Si cerca di seguire un sentiero in cui poter leggere nei corpi, nelle voci, nei gesti una riflessione critica, una domanda: se, nel nostro tempo, la leggerezza rappresenti un bisogno o una condanna.

In Contre-poids, Massimo Monticelli questions the status and nuances of the idea of lightness starting from the contradiction intrinsic to this concept: its superficiality on the one hand and its everyday necessity on the other.
An attempt is made to follow a path in which one can read in the in the bodies, in the voices, in the gestures a critical reflection, a question: whether, in our time, lightness represents a need or a condemnation.
