Nelle sue Eroidi, Ovidio immagina una raccolta di lettere scritte da alcune fra le più famose donne del mito per i rispettivi uomini che, per una ragione o per l'altra, le hanno abbandonate.
Massimo Monticelli vuole qui comporre una nuova eroide. Attraversando un frammento di vita, una lettera diventa l'occasione per porre una riflessione sull'amore, sull'arte e sulla solitudine.

Project selected for the ATLAS - create your dance trails program of the ImPulsTanz festival in Vienna, with dramaturgical support by Guy Cools and Angelique Wilkie, presented as a work in progress in August 2022 in Vienna.
In his Heroides, Ovid imagines a collection of letters written by some of the most famous women in Greek and Latin mythology. Those letters are addressed to their beloved men who, for one reason or another, eventually abandoned them.
Massimo Monticelli wants to compose, here, a new heroid. By displaying a fragment of life, a letter becomes an opportunity to propose a reflection about love, art and loneliness.
